James Pereira

Founder & CEO

James Pereira | Founder & CEO

Throughout his 25 year career in the global real estate industry, James has successfully helped acquire and develop more than 10 million square feet of residential, hospitality and commercial real estate with an aggregate value in excess of $12 billion. James has held executive leadership roles at Lendlease, RXR, HFZ Capital, Willton Investment Management and has served as a special advisor for various firms throughout the US and internationally. His work has received international recognition and awards.

James has drawn from his diverse background in real estate from architecture to construction management, development, marketing and sales, to create one-of-a-kind properties with a vision to elevate how people live and work.

James earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from New York Institute of Technology. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in NY and TX.

Victor Plevrites | Director of Construction

With 20 years of experience in construction management across Lendlease and Suffolk Construction, Victor’s strong grasp of project objectives allows him to provide valuable direction in both preconstruction and construction phases of a project. He is responsible for ensuring transparency and collaboration amongst all teams are implemented throughout the entire project. With professionalism and passion, he delivers on safety, quality, and innovation.
Over the course of his career, he has overseen numerous luxury multi-family residential and mixed-use projects in New York City. Some of the most prominent projects include: Waldorf Astoria, a historic renovation of 375 luxury condominium units; Central Park Tower, a 99-story luxury condominium tower with 179 units and three full floors of amenities; The Alexander – Rego Park II Residences, a 23 story luxury rental building with 312 units built on top of an existing retail mall; 135 East 79th Street, a 20-story luxury condominium building with 32 luxury units.

Chris Farmer | Design Director

Chris is a licensed architect with 15 years of experience in Development and Architecture and overseas new deal pursuits, partner relationships, and design management through all stages of pre-development.

Before joining Veira, Chris served as the Executive Director of Design positions at Willton Investment Management and GemdaleUSA, where he oversaw design management on a national scale across various asset types. Prior to his involvement in development, Chris worked as a Project Architect for Foster + Partners and Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) in NYC and abroad. In this capacity, he supervised notable projects such as the 700’ tall luxury condo 'The Selene,’ 550’ tall 50 United Nations Plaza and managed the construction an 8-story luxury condo 'The Cube' in New Providence, Bahamas.
Chris holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Westminster, London, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, UK.
